Question:
Can PChrome™ save me money?
Answer:
PChrome will absolutely save you a bundle. It’s the simple way to create a reflective finish that no one can tell from traditional chrome plating … for less than ¼ the cost. And while traditional chrome plating can easily cost over $10,000 per vehicle and must go on a metal bumper weighing about 100 lbs., PChrome bonds just fine with vaccu-formed composites weighing 30 lbs. or less. So that can save you on weight, fuel consumption, emission and money even more.
Question:
Just how good does a PChrome finish look?
Answer:
PChrome is a multi layer process that builds up to a beautiful finish. One that’s just as hard, long lasting, bonded to a substrate, shiny, reflective, and resistant to salt air as traditional chrome plating, Maybe more so. Plus we give you a number of alternatives for different color tones. Like gold, copper, blue and others. Check on the “How to apply page for the specifics of the mix and application formulations.
Question:
How easy is PChrome™ to apply?
Answer:
Easy as following the step by step directions. But you do have to follow the instructions precisely to get the full reflective, high shine you’re after. That applies to the surface preparation before PChroming, the mixing of each PChrome formulation, and the applying of it in a careful, even way. Be sure to give each step the deionized water rinse specified and the proper curing time. Remember, you’re going for WOW! Time. So don’t let yourself down.
Question:
What’s involved is setting up to PChrome™
Answer:
You’ll need to order the kit outlined on the “PChrome™ Start-Up” Info Page. This includes all the PChrome products in a large enough quantity to let you do a few practice runs to develop your technique. It also includes the guns, hoses and other ancillary equipment you should find useful. Just for your own restoration projects the kit is economic enough to make it worthwhile. If you decide to develop PChroming as a little business on the side, or more, so much the better.
